POEMS
Following his retirement from legal practice in Australia, Hank devoted himself to artistic pursuits, including writing numerous poems and plays.
His first play, Crescent Moon, Yellow Star, enjoyed a successful run at a Sydney theater in 2005. His next one, The Ballad of Rachel Corrie, also performed in Sydney in 2005, focused on a Palestinian rights activist killed in a confrontation with Israeli authorities.
Finding writing and staging plays too demanding, Hank subsequently concentrated on writing poetry. He also joined a community choir, continuing a longtime interest in music.
